Exactly as expected in the photo.

cans are thick and strong. Not fragile. Lids fit well. Holds exactly the amount stated. I ordered this set of jars specifically for my kombucha introduction because they came with canvas to cover them. My order arrived and my starter tea was ready to be sent in the jars. However, one of the jars didn't have a linen lid so I had to run to the store to buy one at the last minute. A little annoying. And no, I'm not going to use an old t-shirt or towel. When fermenting you should have clean materials, no t-shirts that have been exposed to your biological bacteria. Anyway, jars are great for storing liquids.
