I wanted to like these travel bottles but they let me down. I bought this to store my homemade toothpaste. I used to use a small jar but wanted to try a squeezable container because it made more sense to me than using a jar. Containers didn't work properly. I can't store them with the lid closed because the ingredients will leak out of the lid. Also, after a few uses, some of the toothpaste gets stuck in the snap portion of the lid, and I can't snap the lid open without first thoroughly cleaning the crevices in the lid with a cotton swab. wasn't an effective solution for me and I'm not sure it would be a good idea to use it for shampoo [as stated in the product description]. Maybe a thick lotion doesn't bleed as much; I can try to use them for this so I don't waste my money.
