In terms of low-priced, manually adjustable soap dishes, I rate this one of the highest. Listed below are some advantages: With a skilled hand behind the lens, optical zoom almost has no effect on image quality. Simpler to activate than a conventional flash, and it won't fire automatically. It is physically impossible to turn the dial inadvertently and change the shooting mode. Lovely, uncomplicated fare. The wheel makes it simple and quick to set up the camera before taking a picture. Easy on the grip. Excellent camera construction. Everything is executed in the same high standard as Canon's previous digital compact cameras. Distinct drawbacks: The biggest and only real problem is that the battery life is short because the screen is so big. It wouldn't be any worse if the screen were shrunk in half (even better).
