The overall quality of these jeans is excellent despite being thinner than regular jeans. I was looking for something durable that as a petite lady I wouldn't bathe in and it seemed to be a good cross section of everything I needed. I will say they are slightly shorter. I'm 5'4", 110 lbs, wear a size 0-2 and usually wear petite/short cuts. These SMALL sizes are pretty loose all over, but I've noticed the length from crotch to shoulders is pretty short. Shoulders when I bend over, so I think anyone who is taller than me needs to choose a medium size. The legs are also fairly short, about to the ankles. Again, I have short legs and usually have to hem my pants so I don't know what's going on with sizing these things. I bought them for a function so they work great for that.
