After using the 1st version of iPad mini for over 9 years, it's finally time to update to the latest version. We have twins and TWO iPads definitely cost $$$ to upgrade so I wanted to make sure it would be protected for at least another 5 years or so, if not another decade. lol. Over the years I've noticed that kids often drop their tablet when trying to find the right place to hold it. This one definitely looked like it would be easy and quick to hold in a tiny hand - order placed! Upon arrival I was surprised at how bright it is. I've had several kid-friendly iPad cases in the past, but this is definitely the lightest. In my opinion this is a great victory. Yes, the black plastic thing inside the case fits snugly and is very difficult to pull out. (I noticed that some people didn't realize they were supposed to take it out before installing the iPad?) But that just means it's snug enough in the case and won't fall off. I always use screen protectors for my trusted brand and not the one that comes with it, so I can't comment on that. Sturdy enough to stand (for an iPad mini) considering its lightness. Hard surface can be better. The price is worth it.
