I bought this for my garage as I need a solution that I can keep in there all the time. This is a great solution for my needs. This thing is SMALL (fits in the palm of my hand) and creates a lot of volume. It also has a very good quality built-in FM receiver that offers clear and crisp reception. Most people will use this for Bluetooth and the connection is easy and stable in my garage (with my phone in my pocket). I love that it also has a line-in in case I want to connect another audio device. Finally, it can also run on battery power; The power adapter converts 110V household power to 12V DC, but I can also connect it to my car or another 12V battery for outdoor use. Lots of flexibility in this tiny package. Considering the price I am very happy with my purchase.
