This handwarmer lacks the temperature setting control which the previous version had. Instead of three temperature levels, there is only one, and that temperature is too hot for comfort. It also is much slower to warm up than the older version. On the plus side, the battery capacity is said to be larger (8000mAh versus 5200), but I have not confirmed that. I'll have to return this unit and order the older model while they are still available.
