This is no ordinary boring lamp. A sleek, minimalist corner lamp, or I call it a long and tall color-changing glow stick, that can enhance the atmosphere of any space with a variety of lighting effects to choose from. The construction of the lamp makes a solid impression and is easy to assemble, except that when connected to the mains only half of the lamp comes on at first. This is an accent lamp. It's not intended to illuminate and cover every inch of a room. It provides enough light in a dark room to prevent tripping and falling. Kids love to play with music and light sync mode. The colors of the light change to emit different light patterns when the built-in microphone picks up music or your voice. It's fun to see the lights pulsing to the beat of the music or to the beat of someone singing. I had to go back and add another star because the big kids at home are really having fun with this light.
