Bought as a topper for a cabin with very hard mattresses. I'm a bit picky about where I sleep and was hoping it would make the beds bearable for casual weekends spent there. At home I have a mattress topper four times the price, so I wasn't expecting too much for that price. But I was very happy with it. For the first time I was able to sleep through the night and also wake up with no pain in my whole body! Will buy more! I've tried some in the past with an eggshell design (not from this company) that I hated, as well as other mattress pads that seemed to retain too much heat. It's not like this. Definitely a great buy!
