You might think a jug is expensive until you use it. I was tired of settling for cheap plastic pitchers that poured poorly, tasted weird and looked like they were going to break. First of all, it's really very nicely made... the unique design looks very nice. If you're looking for a stylish way to serve fresh lemonade, this is it! It is lightweight yet sturdy and fits your hand perfectly. It pours absolutely perfectly, not dripping or flowing at all. The stainless steel lid has a silicone seal, fits well and is easy to clean. It holds a lot of drinks, I make myself a large iced tea a few times a week and it's just right. You can actually brew hot tea right in it (it's a borosilicate, like a beaker, so high temperatures aren't an issue), saving you a step. This is only high quality, well-made tableware.
