I was really excited to try these Hasoku Girls velvet leggings, especially after reading all the rave reviews online. But to be honest, after my experience I felt a little down and unfortunately quite cold. Don't get me wrong, these leggings are undeniably cute with their fun and playful unicorn and white floral design. The fleece lining also makes them very soft and comfortable. Having said that, I have to say that they just don't quite pull it off when it comes to keeping me warm. I found that despite the fluffy inside, these leggings still let quite a bit of cold air through. Even under a skirt or dress, my legs felt cold and exposed, making them not the best choice for winter weather. While I appreciate the fun and whimsical look of the Hasoku Girls velvet leggings, I have to rate them 3 stars out of 5 overall. They are definitely more of a fashion statement than a functional option to keep you warm. So if you are looking for real winter leggings, this might not be the best choice.
