THIS WILL CAUSE THE BATTERY SHORT CIRCUIT AND BLOW THE FUSE
Not sure what happened but I plugged it into the power supply outlet and it worked fine for a while then it started out of nowhere to smoke and my car wouldn't start. After checking the battery, I found that the battery was completely discharged and the fuse was blown. It's too strong for most cars. Be sure to check your car's voltage rating so you don't have the same problem I did.
