I don't like foam padding
I find that the foam padding gets in the way when ironing. I like the firmer surface of the standard upholstery - wrinkles are smoothed out better. Also note that this sleeve has an elastic band, no laces, so you can't tighten it to fit your board. My board is fine, but I also had to ditch the padding from my last case to make it fit better.
