Not compatible with 1 " ball heads
While the design of this arm is fantastic, if you want to use it as a cheap way to get an underwater light arm it won't do independently of size, the ball is less than 1 inch, so don't even think about trying to get the balls out or using them for any reason other than connecting two 1/4 inch threaded fasteners.
