Soldered high quality audio cables. Avoid.

With junk audio cables soldered in, this thing already had a short lifespan, but out of the box it sounds like a pair of old headphones that have been in a kid's backpack for 3 years. The unbranded one I bought last time was cheaper, MUCH smaller, prettier, and had audio jacks instead of built-in disposable cables. fake brand, in the same $1.50 portions, and this rubbish coming off the brand is insulting. If you can't even get the overpriced isolator to work, damn if I ever believe Pyle's trash sound again. Of course, audio quality is lacking, with the dollar store's built-in pre-crimped cables ruining everything. On the overview page I want to mention "thickness" and "transparency" but this is wearable in the most technical way. It's oddly shaped, too big, and full of empty spaces. The board (seen through the plastic) is barely full and has an uncomfortable amount of wasted space, seemingly of no use. I'm just leaving this one because I just want this project to move and I can just pop off the big chunks of plastic and solder a bunch of sockets onto the board. If I had known that, I would have just bought the parts and built them myself. If you want to just plug it in and go, look for a device with connectors rather than tangled cords uncomfortably dangling from the sides.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
