Review on ๐ŸŒผ Transform Your Space with NuWallpaper NU3038 Groovy Garden Navy Peel & Stick Wallpaper by Carlos Cardoso

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A simple and quick way to add color to your walls!

The print is clear, the colors are beautiful and rich! If you have ever applied traditional/pre-pasted wallpaper it may seem like a daunting task at first as you cannot slide the paper to match your pattern. Covering large areas, most reviewers said it was a two-person project, but I was able to paper the kitchen myself - when working with long strips, I removed the backing from a short section of the top of the paper, just enough that I could align the pattern. And I rolled up most of the long strip and pinned the roll together! This trick makes the long strip more comfortable to work with one person. I used 5 rolls in total to cover the backsplash in my kitchen, the area above the cabinets and two small wall areas on either side of the cabinets. I also used this behind some wooden shelves in my kitchen and 3 sides of an open shelving cabinet across the kitchen for a cohesive look. I didn't deduct a star for this, but there were a few very small typographical errors here and there (pencil tip size), but the drawing is so saturated I doubt anyone else will ever notice. I've had no issues with falling or peeling paper and have covered latex painted drywall and vinyl wallpaper with this 30+ year old material so I'm not sure why this is a problem for some people. I suspect these problems can arise when your walls have a film of grease or dust on them. Be sure to use the wallpaper smoothing tool! I don't think you can do it without her to be honest. Smooth everything out as you go, working from the center to the edges so there are no bubbles or creases. Tools: For this I used scissors, a box cutter with a fresh blade and a wallpaper smoothing tool. This way I was able to save a lot of paper (for covering switches, outlet covers, small sections of wall). By saving and using scrap I was able to keep the cost of the project down by only using 5 rolls instead of buying 6 so it was worth it!

Pros
  • NuWallpaper is permanent on walls and leaves no sticky residue
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model
