I bought these to try and keep the nice leather smell in the new Escalade. Unfortunately, the product simply does not smell in the car interior, it is hardly noticeable. If you open the pack and smell it without letting go, it smells pretty good. But when you're driving in the car, the smell is almost imperceptible. I've tried leaving something in the bag and also just removing the whole "tree" but even that didn't work. If you remove an entire tree of plastic, you'll notice an odor for a day or two, especially in winter when the heat is blowing, but it's short-lived and just doesn't last long. I'm a little disappointed, but live and learn. The best product I have used in a car is Febreze for vent clips. Unfortunately they don't smell like leather. I'd prefer an Escalade that doesn't smell like Gain or Tide detergent or Rainforest.
