Technically this extends your cup holder so don't lie. When I received it I was so excited that I went and took a big gulp. The holder is wobbly but I believe the weight of the mug will keep it stable. nope! My first turn, my drink flies out of the extension because the extension flies out of the real holder and spills 30 ounces of soda all over my car. Incredibly disappointed. I'll try to glue this somehow because I really need a bigger cup holder, but this whole "no installation" thing is unrealistic since I just put it in my cup holder and it couldn't hold my drink successfully. Very sad.
