This toothbrush is great for kids (and playful adults). Three flashing lights in the form of a traffic light (green, yellow and red) are built into the handle. Press the button and it will flash green to let your little one know it's time to brush their teeth. After 60 seconds, the light turns yellow, then red. My 8 year old niece loves this comb! She hates brushing her teeth and the light is a great distraction and lets her know when to stop. On the other hand, I don't know how long the batteries will last. It's also clear that the manufacturer doesn't want you to change the batteries - the packaging says the brush should be replaced after the batteries run out, which takes about three months. I don't like how manufacturers continue to dump trash in landfills. Much better if the batteries and head could be adjusted or swapped out rather than encouraging me to throw it all away.
