I'm a bit disappointed in them. The first picture shows it next to the one I bought from TJMaxx. It is a dense thick cotton. I expected them to be thick velvet. Bought as a gift, no time for returns. Those are great colors. You feel strong. Seems a bit small for someone with thicker hair. They are not what I consider velvet. This is a very thin fabric with a velvety feel. Same as polyester/nylon type. I was expecting a thicker velvet. You'll be fine if that's what you want. Suitable for small wrist.
