Previously, I had relied on Krakens for a good while. Nice headphones, however they're wired and the surround sound isn't great and the ear pads are starting to break down. The wireless approach is, in my opinion, the best available, thus the few drawbacks are acceptable. In favor of it: Weak wifi performance. Really. The beauty of it distracts you from the wire, allowing you to get up and enjoy it. A wired headset is no longer an option. In addition, there are none issues with the connection in either wine or poppies (they use the same ghub, but win provides more customization options). Comparing it to the Krakens in Quake, the contrast is noticeable. Superb quality, sturdy metal construction. A second set of ear cushions is included, and they're made of foam rather than leather (!). Not advertising the fact that the battery lasts for over 20 hours. A USB-C Port (shame on everyone who releases devices with micro-USB). Distinct drawbacks: The bass isn't very good. Even with leather ear pads, extended use can cause the ears to become quite sweaty. They're exerting a good deal of force.
