Review on Razer Opus: Premium Wireless ANC Gaming Headset with THX Certification in Sleek Black Design by Reginald Pitt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Short review of intensive use, good value for money.

Assembly 5 stars Bluetooth 5 stars Noise canceling 4 stars Finally sound 4-4.5 stars depending on the connection. This is a great value entry point for quality headphones. The company is well established and has a handle on both quality and Bluetooth technology, so it's too high. As for 4-4.5 stars: t handle, it will crack a lot. However, this is only the case in very noisy situations. I tried it in flight and it works very well. I just wish they programmed a decibel meter or something so the noise-cancellation wouldn't "try too hard"... but that's in noisy environments like a vacuum cleaner in the same room, you'll rarely run into it, but one Firmware update is welcome. Now the main thing; Tone: It is well balanced and not too low, too high or too mid. I have a bias and love lightweight, midrange-focused headphones. That sounds a little high to me, but I know it's well balanced because it's a little higher. I would give 4 stars for the 3.5mm connection and 4.5 for Bluetooth... the wired connection seems a bit more mid focused, the wired connection is balanced and maybe even too high/mid accented for my liking (I also have tinnitus). ). the high one will make my earring). A few notes: It comes with cables and a body that's up to Bose standards and, in my opinion, rivals Bose in everything but noise-cancellation. Battery life is good, but most active noise-cancelling headphones don't have to be that good in this area, so they're up to date. Verdict: Absolutely worth the price if you're not looking for bass-heavy headphones. Noise-cancellation is good enough to fly, sound is fairly balanced, build quality and Bluetooth are top-notch. A good alternative to Bose...or even Sony if you're looking for less powerful bass.
