It works fine for me

Interesting! Before I bought this brush I read some horror stories from people who had trouble getting this thing to work as shown. I almost left him. I've been looking for a new carafe since I smashed mine with an ill-advised cleaning method called "stuff it in the dishwasher". It made me think I needed a better cleaner. To be honest, the dishwasher method worked well for a number of years, but I can assure you that picking up broken pieces of decanter from the bottom of the dishwasher is no fun at all. The replacement carafe I chose was actually made by Oenophilia. I'm a retired engineer and it occurs to me that anyone designing a cleaning device that doesn't work with their own product must be completely insane, so I took the plunge. The first time I used it I had to figure out how to fit it in the carafe and I had to work on the curves a bit, especially at the end. I'm giving the designer the benefit of the doubt by suggesting that it was bent like this for transport. lol. Once I figured that out, I knew I made the right decision in choosing the carafe, as the mouth size was much wider than the old carafe, allowing for easier brush insertion. Oenophilia strikes again! Once this issue is resolved, the brush will work great. I have to admit that I bet on this choice when I bought a bottle of cleaning balls at the same time. However, since the brush works so well, I haven't used it yet. Maybe later!
