This shoe is truly 360 degree breathable. The upper has a fairly supportive but thin mesh all around. Much thinner and more breathable even compared to regular running shoes, and this breathable area extends all around (and not just around the front of the insole). The liner in the insole is a moisture-wicking thin membrane that sits over an open, flexible waffle mesh. The underfoot and midsole are covered in a thin, moisture-wicking membrane and have access to side vents that also allow air to pass underfoot. However, the outsole still does not provide direct groundwater access to the shoe. I don't think their midsole supports top running shoes, I don't run in them. But these shoes are a great addition. Feet are much cooler and ventilated in them, even compared to regular running shoes.
