A few weeks ago I was stunned when I got a pair of earrings as a gift. I make many of my own and keep getting them as gifts and felt like I didn't wear them because they weren't in the picture. I looked for a way to get her out of the jewelry closet and pick her up. somewhere. So I checked out Revain, stumbled upon Angelynn organizers and saw these acrylic holders - an inexpensive way to see some of the others on sale. Then I noticed that colored acrylic is even cheaper than clear acrylic and I thought about it. I didn't want it hanging on the wall and still on display so I decided to repurpose the first aid kit with a mirrored door on it so who cares about the color? I ordered three blue ones and decided I'll just stock the closet. I finally got to the project today and am very happy with it! So strong, and it's AMAZING how much these organizers can hold - and more. Not only did I use one hole for most pairs, I drilled evenly spaced notches in the top of each so I had even more hanging holes. I then used some S hooks on the bottom of one to hold bracelets, hoop earrings, etc. They come with nice long screws and the two I put in the closet I screwed straight into the wall for heavier earrings. (Because there's a mirror on the other side of the door, I attached the strong double-sided sticky foam strips I had handy to it and put my lightest earrings on top. Works great.) If you don't want to hang them up, they come with legs, but that seems wasteful because those bottom holes are critical. They mount ½ inch from the wall - plenty of room for wires and the back of the earrings plus other things to drop behind them if you like. It's so great to be able to keep track of all my earrings. What a great storage solution! Undoubtedly, the capacity is amazing and the "installation" is very easy. I just can't say enough good things about her. I might order even more.
