Well for starters this is a regular amp for everyday use if you plan on putting out around 1000 watts RMS of power. Currently working with 4ga ofc. It heats up a little when I press it, it heats up more. Don't make him go on the defensive. I deliberately waited 6 months to post a review. This allowed me to calibrate the amp accurately. It's a little cheap to start with and will serve you well for some 12 seconds before upgrading. I have mine on 2 15" evl's and it only does a fraction of what they can handle. About on par with brands like Power Acoustic. Not that expensive but not bad for cheap
