Background: I bought this product to upgrade a LG HBS750 headset which I have been using for several years and still work perfectly, but sometimes the external headphone cables bother me. I was looking for something similar in form and function to the 750 and my review of this product is inevitably compared to that. I am very disappointed in this product based on the following PROS/CONS. PROS: - Battery life: great for calls and music - Fit: Comfortable fit and I often forget I'm wearing it around my neck. It usually stays in place even when you recline or lie down. Headphones are comfortable once you've chosen the right size adapter and do a great job of blocking out noise. - Incoming sound quality: Excellent sound quality for listening to music or phone calls. - Aesthetics: a clear headset CONS: - Outgoing sound quality: people constantly and persistently complain about background noise, be it the rustling of papers while sitting at a desk, while walking, any accidental contact of the headset with the collar of a shirt, etc. Please note You know my habits and environment haven't changed much since I've been using this product compared to 750, this hasn't been a problem in the past. It seems little effort has been made to minimize the effects of background noise and sound transmission along the components - Durability: After just a month of use, part of the neck broke near one of the hinges (see photos). It should be noted that although this headset can be folded and packed, I did not use this feature. It usually spends its days in an unfolded position on my bedside table (recharges when needed) and then wears it all day. - Charge Connector Fit: The plastic plug used to block the charge port when not in use has a poor fit and will not stay in place no matter how carefully it is inserted. Due to its early failure, it never became a major problem. The buttons are a bit difficult to find and reach, especially with gloves (also thin leather).
