When I installed this in my car I loved it at first (I was actually thinking of getting it for my wife's car). However, after a few days, the charging function began to start and stop - at least every 5 seconds. It turned on and off so many times it actually drained my phone. I checked the connections on the charger and my car's USB charging socket and went as far as replacing them with a different cable. I even plugged the included cable directly into the phone. So I found that the block itself is faulty. It's not the cable, it's not my car, it's not my phone. We were on a month long van trip so I missed the return window. I AVOID THIS CHARGER COMPLETELY!
