Review on Egoway 65W AC Power Adapter Charger for Lenovo Yoga 900, 700, and 4 Pro Tablet - Long 6.6 Ft Power Cable by Andy Hearshman

Dangerous! Avoid! I bought this charger for my Yoga 900 to have a second charger on the go. The 120v folding pins were particularly attractive and seemed to work well for a couple of charges over the next 2 weeks. Today I tried unsuccessfully to use the USB ports to connect the printer. After a long time testing the printer, channels and some other USB devices with another laptop that was working fine, I found that all 3 USB ports on my Yoga stopped working. The Egoway charger is also not suitable for charging the Yoga. Thank goodness the original charger still works. I took the Yoga to Best Buy where I bought it 6 months ago and the Geek Squad decided that if the warranty covered the damage it should be sent in for warranty repair. They also said that if I don't pay Lenovo $250 to disassemble and retrieve documents directly from the SSD, Lenovo's repair process could result in the loss of 40GB of irreplaceable documents. I have just written to Egoway asking to return this charger for a refund. Also, I think I should be reimbursed for the cost of keeping my data and the possible loss of my yoga. No USB sockets anywhere. Avoid this charger! I saved a few bucks for an original Lenovo charger, but now I'm in a lot of pain. If I could give zero stars, I would.
