I've used a lot of wired headphones over the last few years. To be honest, these DCMEKAs are by far the most comfortable. There's something about my ears that most headphones either hurt after an hour or two or refuse to stay in my ears. But I can wear them for hours and not feel uncomfortable. They have a semi-rigid loop at the back of the ear that keeps them in place. The sound quality is really surprisingly good and superior to many headphones that cost significantly more. I've had them for over a year and now they're starting to cut through on one side so I'm buying another pair. At this price, that's not a problem. I can travel with them and if they get stolen or lost, it doesn't matter much. Another thing I noticed after comparing it to some of the CCA headphones I've tried recently is that the CCA headphones are too shrill in high frequencies for me and also uncomfortable in my ear. I'm sensitive to high frequencies and prefer to turn down the volume on my car radio. While CCA headphones can be considered more accurate for audio monitoring purposes, I personally find the high audio clarity too penetrating for everyday use. But DCMEKA has better mids and lows in my opinion, and high frequencies are a bit muffled. This is perfect for me!
