Came as advertised. Unfortunately, it's not very effective at preventing infection due to the stretchy material, so I wear a face mask, sometimes under gaiters (I'm an RN and know the limitations of gaiters, cloth masks, etc) when in close contact. I will say that the recent study stating that spats are ineffective is partly true, but it was too small a sample to reach the conclusions it presented and it was not qualified or published. The leg warmers I bought allow me to go to the store for short periods of time on the street but not in crowded places. A cloth or even paper mask worn under the spats does a better job of preventing spread through speaking or even breathing. It in no way protects the owner, only others if the carrier is contagious. By the way, I have submitted several analyzes (negative). Be sure! Try to respect your local mask-wearing requests!
