I've been looking for a USB-C cable to charge my Go Pro Hero and other portable speakers and chargers that use via USB-C cables charge, but my surge protector with built-in USB output ports is on the floor behind my standing desk. I really needed a long charging cable, especially when I lift my desk to stand up, and this 10ft USB-C charging cable was perfect for my needs. traditional plastic rubber cable material. I believe all cables should be braided. If you have a braided charging cable, you can't go back to regular cables. I've had no trouble charging my Go Pro Hero camera and other portable devices with a USB-C port. A USB-C cable will definitely charge faster than a micro-USB cable, not to mention the convenience of not having to plug it in properly since the USB-C connector is symmetrical and there are no up or down snaps when plugged in down position there. I am very happy with this USB-C charging cable and I know it will last for years. Oh, and that was 2 packs so I now have a spare 10ft cord to use elsewhere. Such a great price for 2 amazing USB-C cables made from durable braided nylon. We recommend!
