Cute prints at a reasonable price but I hate that diaper.

My first baby started diapering when he was about 3 weeks old (about 11 pounds). It's been over a month now and I still hate using this diaper. I bought a pair of Velcro diaper covers postpartum because I only included snap-on pros (mother's brain) in the registry. the prints are so cute. Velcro is so easy to use. The wash flaps basically prevent the cover from sticking to other objects. Overall a good diaper. Not very expensive. First of all, this diaper almost always leaks with us. As a side note we do pre-fold blocks as inserts in the cases and I'd say we've had a pretty good experience with CDs so far. God forbid my girl poops when she uses this, it's over for the cover and I'll be lucky if it doesn't end up on her clothes. I HOPE it can happen less as she gets bigger (she probably weighs over 13lbs now) because the leg gussets fit better? However, she has chunky legs and I don't see why that should be a problem as it's a size 1 diaper. I don't have the same problem with my thirst sizes. There is also no way to adjust the stroke. This is not really a problem for my child because it is long, but something to be aware of for other children. After all, since this is a trimmed diaper, unless it's on the smaller side and padded, you can't place the prefolds very easily. If you have to fold the back for size, it's difficult to put all the stuff in. The fabric is soft to the touch but not as waterproof as my other cases. PUL is thinner inside than others. Overall, I only reach for this diaper when she's just pooped and it's laundry day and my other covers are dirty, which is a shame because it's probably the cutest print in my stash.
