Review on Power up Your PSP with the Ultimate AC Adaptor by John Roberts

The picture is a little disturbing.

I am a frugal person. I usually buy something when I think it's value for money, so I'm concerned about this product. With a 56% discount (I bought it for $13.16), I was worried it might not be an "official SONY item". Especially since the product image was very different from the adapter/charger that came with my System 3000. However, when the product arrived I thought it was the best. The "you get what you pay for" problem. The adapter that I received "for free" with my system was very basic. Just what it takes to get the job done. The wiring that failed on my original adapter, is was flimsy and quickly broke in the body of the line without much wear or mishandling. The $30 MSRP cable is nice and thick though. Seems to be well insulated. Continuous. If you're concerned that this adapter might not look like the adapter that came with your system, don't. Better. The MSRP of $30 is a little high, but this item appears to be of higher quality and worth the price so far. If you prefer to buy SONY branded goods for your SONY products, this is not only the only way, but also a wise purchase. Especially when you can get it for half the price.
