The buckle itself is only held to the belt by sharp metal teeth. When you wear a belt, these teeth pull at your skin and rip it out. After a few days the end is reached and the belt snaps. Any attempt to reattach the buckle is pointless as there is nothing left to bite your teeth on, forcing you to take scissors to snip the strap an inch to reattach it. Repeat every few days. Eventually, after a few seconds, the belt will become too small and you will have to throw it away. Now imagine how much fun you will have when this happens in a rush at work! Do not buy this belt. The belt comes with instructions on how to do all of this, assuming this is the expected behavior.
