The Venus Face Perfection Epilator removes facial hair quite well by pulling it out from the root. That's what an epilator is supposed to do. It's not painful or painless! It all depends on your expectations, yes you will feel something when the hair is grabbed and pulled out, roots and all, but you are in control and can decide how much and how often you use it, so get used to it yourself to the feeling . Step. It's not magic. This is not a medical device and should not be used as such. Should read and follow the instructions and not be an idiot. If you don't take care of your skin while using this tool, you could possibly find your skin stuck in it (e.g. on your neck) and leave an injury. It appears to be from Braun which is a big plus for me as this brand has let me down on more than one occasion. I have a full size Braun epilator but it is much easier to work with in tighter and smaller areas. The battery seems to be draining quicker than I'd like, but the compromises in comfort and managing smaller areas with control won't stop me from buying this again.
