Great motion detection

I bought this motion sensor socket along with another one to compare. I like that you can set the time from a few seconds up to 5 minutes so that it turns off after no motion is detected. You can also adjust the light sensitivity at which it lights up. This item reacts quickly once you enter the room, but waits until you enter the room. The other one I bought would light up at any sign of movement or change in lighting (car driving by), turn on constantly, and only turn off after 5 minutes. Because of this, he will have plenty of time when not in use. It was easily turned on by the reflection of light from the TV in the next room. It was annoying. With that, it turns on as soon as I take 2 steps. I can open the door to check in and the light won't come on until I decide to enter the room. While I'm working in my office where I have them, if I'm constantly working at my desk/PC where there's not much movement, it turns off, but a quick wave and they turn back on. During the times when I'm working longer than 15 minutes, I just turn on my desk lamp and don't worry about the moving lights going out. When I need extra lighting again, a quick wave and they turn back on. I have another one in our bathroom that has no windows and you have to turn on the light every time you enter. I have a large family that for some reason can't flick the light switch when they're done and now the lights go out within 2-3 minutes of them going out. It's been a week so far and they're working really great! I highly recommend them.
