We wanted to buy shoes for our older dog because he has health problems and the cold, snow, salt and sand made it very difficult for him to walk this winter in Connecticut. His paws were just too sore to stay outside long enough to even mind his own business. We had read less than rave reviews about them, but we have small dogs, so due to the price we decided to give them a try. We had to try a few different sizes to get the right fit, but we ended up doing it and glad we did. . We started with size 5 because based on all the reviews we decided to go further. However, size 5 was too big for him. However, they were a perfect fit for our 16 lb corgi so we kept them. We then bought a size 3 and it was too small. They're actually perfect for our 10 lb Chi mix (he has long legs and very petite paws) so we kept them too. We then bought a size 4 and it fit our older boy just right. Wow, I feel like I just wrote a story about three bears here. LAUGH OUT LOUD . Anyway, our older boy has a 13 lb chi/min pin mix and they changed his gear. Now he's looking forward to the release and may be there for much longer. Very glad we tried them! You made life better for all of us.
