I've found a new hobby, I've had them for about a month now and am exploring the nearby reefs where I live. It took me a while to get used to this as it was my first time using a snorkel set. First I spent about an hour on the high seas to get used to the snorkel. I had a bit of a learning curve with the snorkel installed and panicked a few times when a wave might have swept over the top of the snorkel or I accidentally put my head in the water too deep causing the dry top seal to get stuck and restricting airflow interrupt unexpectedly. I've gotten used to it now and keep my cool when it happens. I've found that if it closes due to a pounding wave or a small amount of water, a slight tap through the tube will open the valve and allow air to flow freely again. Diving is not a problem. , I've gotten used to that, except for the pressure on my ears, as I said, I'm still new and I'm still learning.
