Works well if you need a set of umbrella light modifiers, a couple of coasters/lights and not too expensive. Yes, there are larger umbrellas, more specialized ones, etc. However, if you want a set of umbrellas that you can work with without wasting your hands and feet, this is where you can start. I use gold more often than others, but I've used piercing white a few times. I've only used silver once but it was good. The lamps are not bad for the price and the lamps themselves are ok. I used them in always-on mode, not as flashes.
