Update rating: These shoes are not wide at all. On closer inspection and according to my three year old they are too tight around the foot unlike all her other shoes. move and develop properly. The shoes of this brand are very narrow. My 3 year old can't even fit in a normal size unless he's a half or a full size too big. She has better luck with the big sizes. This time we bought the XW size and they are still not very wide. We have shoes from other brands that standard sizes are wider. However, she likes them and says they are XW and comfortable.
