Hidden derating - half the power

It's beautiful and reliable, delivering 100W to a USB-C device WHEN ONLY 1 CABLE IS CONNECTED. I wanted this for my kitchen counter where we charge iPads, iPhones, MacBooks and other micro USB devices. I have 1 laptop USB-C cable, 2 lightning cables (1 USB-C and 1 USB-A) and a micro USB cable plugged in all the time and then we just connect devices as needed . I agree that the power per port is reduced when charging multiple devices at the same time, but I would like this USB-C port to output 100W when the laptop is the only device connected. The main problem (world first) with this is that simply plugging in other cables with no devices connected will result in the USB-C port only delivering 45W - less than half the rated power! A smarter implementation could only share power when the devices are actually connected.
