An excellent fan for moving the air in medium and small sized rooms. Not intended for large areas as the sole source of air movement. You need a bigger fan than the 10.5 inch blades. Nonetheless. Moves air very well for its size. As others have said, and for its size, it's a "loud" fan. But it's not so loud that you can't speak in a "normal tone" without raising your voice, listening to music, etc. But you'll know for sure that it's on. Like it a lot. Constructed/built from durable materials. Easy assembly (you need to screw on the fan base). A REALLY good fit for its size. I wanted to get a bigger fan but first wanted to see how well this fan moves air. Now that I've done that, I don't think I need a big fan. I'll probably pick another one instead. I'd rather have 2 small fans than 1 big one to circulate the air better.
