These cleansing/toning pads have worked well for my combination skin. It has a lemony scent (due to the ingredients) and the pods themselves are smooth. There is no waffle texture that I'm used to. Because they are smooth and so thin that it is difficult to grab them individually. I usually have at least 2 left. It's like new twenty dollar bills, how they stick together so perfectly you don't even notice. Also, my skin didn't feel flaky after use. They didn't sting or sting like the acne pads of my youth (which still exist). They just cleaned and tightened my skin. I used my regular cleanser and then used these pads. I applied serum and moisturizer. This is not my favorite of the toner pads I've used. But they are comfortable and don't irritate my skin. I will continue to use them, especially during the weeks when I have problem skin.
