Packaging: The product comes in a nice box and looks very cute. Everyone in our house noticed. Appearance: Beautiful color. Aqua is calming and inviting. The paint doesn't look like it will scratch off easily. Functionality: I will not count this as it is clear in the item description that the file is glass. However, I see no point in a frosted glass nail file for a child! I would like to know if there is a potential for lead in glass. One of the best online experts I follow found lead in the most unexpected everyday objects, so I'm very careful about what type of glass I use and what for. I'm not sure what I would think of frosted glass as a tool for trimming a child's nails, as rubbing the nails against glass may have an impact. The item may not contain lead, but without more information it's hard to say for sure. I just don't understand how this material is best suited for a newborn. I think there are other material options that are better for babies. Even the cuticle scissors didn't seem too functional when trying it out. Price: I've paid around this price for a good set of kids nail clippers before though. They didn't come with tweezers or a pretty container. So I would pay around that price for a case, tweezers and nail clippers in one great quality set. These are my general thoughts after trying the product. Hope this helps someone with their purchasing decision!
