I was fine with this belt for the first two weeks. This is a very light and comfortable everyday garment for this hot Florida summer. But damn. It's really hard to believe bibs put their name on this belt considering how the damn thing fell apart like a banana in just 3 months of wearing 9 to 5. As it turns out, the up and down seams are just plain aesthetic! It doesn't hold the belt together at all. Not even glue or anything like that. Once the thin neoprene material flowing down the sides is gone, the two sections move freely and almost everything goes down from there. I can't think of it. I don't know why they think anyone can wear this belt even casually for more than a few weeks. I'm trying to figure out what scenario they think this will work within a reasonable amount of time. I can tell you that it started to loosen a little the first day I wore it to work. Remember I'm working on my feet so I walk a lot but c'mon! In the second picture, see the thin strip on the left that is still partially attached to both sides of the belt? That's literally all this belt has ever held together! At first I thought maybe some of the glue had come off and I could fix that with a quick stitch and some rubber glue, but that can't be fixed unless I plan on sewing the whole belt together. Next I need to glue the soles to my boots before I put them on. What amazes me is that I don't understand why this is a simple defect. It doesn't look like a mechanism that was supposed to sew the two pieces together could magically slide in between and sew both sides separately. no It looks like they were made that way on purpose. There or there must have been some kind of glue. I don't usually say this, but wow what the hell! I don't want to be dramatic, but I've never had a sadder belt. If this is a genuine Dickies product then A LOT has gone wrong with them since I had the last belt from them which lasted about 8 years before the holes just stretched too far. And it costs about the same. I only gave two stars because it was comfortable. If you are looking for a comfortable belt that you will only wear a few times in your life. knock yourself out. If you want a working belt, this isn't it.
