Worth the price! Some defects

Notes: There are no complaints about the seller and the delivery time! I think I have a Surface Pro i5, Windows 10, mainly used for work - VPN from home I didn't use all ports. This dock will NOT charge your Surface Pro (SP), you still plug in the charger. If your external monitors are different and have different dpi, then "duplicate" the displays will have an effect. For example, one of my external monitors is older and has a VGA cable, another is newer and has an HDMI cable. Between the Surface Pro and these two monitors, they all have different optimal resolutions, with SP being the highest. If I duplicate displays and keep the optimal resolution for my SP, my icons and text will be much larger on the duplicated monitor. If you reduce the resolution by SP so that the monitor displays normally, the quality has deteriorated significantly, but it looks more normal. When you expand displays, you can set the optimal resolution for each monitor. I hope it made sense. Pros: * Great price compared to a Microsoft product * Direct plug and play, no driver downloads or anything * Seems to be decent quality. Has material, isn't lightweight and doesn't appear to be made out of cheap plastic * Accepts many different connector types, whereas with the Microsoft Station I would have the additional cost of adapters for my monitors with different connector types. * It was possible to connect 2 external monitors * It was possible to connect an external keyboard and mouse * It was possible to duplicate displays (so the Surface Pro could be closed and put aside) * Extended displays allow you to use/edit all of them 3 monitors separately Cons: *Seems like my phone wasn't charging when plugged in, had to plug it into an outlet with a USB adapter.*NO SOUND when plugged into this dock so I had to plug in external speakers . *VPN ONLY WORKS ON 1 MONITOR. Unable to move windows/pages to other screens (only tried on dual screens with 2 monitors). This problem was a real bummer for me as this is my main application. I don't know if this would be better for the Microsoft Dock or if I need to change the setting. Haven't figured that out yet. And I have 2 monitors at work and used both screens for VPN at home when I was using a desktop pc. VPN issues aside, this dock seems worth the price and I may have had the same issues with the MS Dock. Who knows? I hope I can find a solution to this and I hope it's just some kind of optimization. I have to ask someone more tech savvy than me!
