The quality is very good. However, the picture shown is deceptive. My granddaughter is 4 years old which is the lower size limit and it fits her very well. It by no means covers her head like in the picture because it stretches so much to fit true to size. By the way, she doesn't have a big head. It will probably fit a 2 or 3 year old.
