I recently upgraded my laptop to a Macbook Air M1 13 inch so it's time to upgrade my attache too. I like the slim but well-padded briefcase, just the right size for my laptop when I'm not carrying my full briefcase to work, a meeting, or a coffee shop. I had a smaller 11 inch Case Logic laptop sleeve and a slim iPad sleeve for my 2015 12 inch Macbook which were perfect but didn't come with the 13 inch factor. This old attaché looks practically new after 5 years. This item fits my Macbook. Ideal air (see photo). The padded pocket fits the laptop comfortably, perhaps a quarter inch of space on each side. This was the main feature I was looking for. I also like that the Apple charger and cable fit very snugly in one of the outside pockets without looking too bulky. The third feature I particularly like is that the included carrying strap's attachment points are made from the same durable polyester webbing and not of metal or plastic; I almost never use a belt and hate extra scratchy parts. I found that stationery (8.5 x 11 inches), files, tablets or even portfolios all fit in. I've been looking for alternatives for an hour without success), I'd rather put 4.5 there. My old Case Logic 11" laptop and iPad Slim case had a large (but narrow) zipped compartment behind an outside pocket with loops and pockets for pens, business cards, keys, phone, etc. This item has no such compartments. It'll stay for me I have to decide whether to put my small items in the large empty inside pocket or in one of the zippered pockets in the front; no way to organize myself.
