This is a regular spinner with a 2D image made up of lots of colored swirls. I find it difficult to describe the "magic visual error" they describe because I don't perceive it. It's just a blurry image of curls that unravel a bit as you slow down. The image itself does not appear to have been created to create the illusion. It spins fine, but the point of contact is a ball, so it doesn't spin as long as it could if it were a point. I've seen much better, both in terms of visual effect and rotation quality.
